Winter Storm Nemo – The Day After

Here is the initial dig out this morning. It’s impossible to tell how much accumulation because it has been blowing since early last night. We’re not sure how much wind either because our anemometer froze around dinner time. Local reports indicate that we got three feet or so and a town less than 15 miles from here recorded wind gusts up to 80 mph last night. Needless to say, it’s been pretty wild. This morning, all windows on three sides of the boat were completely obscured and the door was frozen shut. Mark has worked throughout the day to clear a path to the parking lot, although the parking lot and nearby streets have not been plowed . A travel ban for CT has been in place since yesterday afternoon and is set to expire at 4pm today, but I don’t see us going anywhere.
